It was sunny and windy and the leaves were coming off the huge poplar tree beside our yard. Set to the artistry of Miles Davis and John Coltraine playing “Autumn Leaves” the video has a simple lyrical quality.

Daily Video: Restless chairs

Here is a simple animation of two lawn chairs in front of our Tisdale house. It was shot with a Canon Optura camcorder using its still feature.

The sequence is set to “A walk in the Black Forest” played by Montovani’s orchestra.

Each an every day that Ensign is updated a two minute video is produced. This video is sometime merely the editor (Timothy W. Shire) giving a short onscreen commentary about the weather and what’s posted that day. Other days the video may show scenes around the community with voice over giving the weather of the day, what’s in Ensign that day and perhaps an additional message. Almost all videos are created with background music and in the last two months that has been accomplished with Apple’s Garageband. The videos are edited with iMovie and the voice over usually edited with Sound Studio.
