RBC celebrates National Aboriginal Day

FTLComm - Tisdale - Thursday, June 21, 2007

Throughout Canada there were celebrations today to recognise National Aboriginal Day. For the first time Canada has declared the month of June First Nations history month as Canadians and Canada's First Nations themselve take this opportunity to learn about themselves and be recognised as the important part of the Canadian cultural mix that makes this one of the best countries in the world.

The Royal Bank and their staff have pitched in here in Tisdale to raise awareness and recognise Canada's First Nations people and they combined the event with the customer appreciation day which is Friday.

As part of the celebration they have some snacks and prizes.
