Winnipeg : Around 1:30 the sky over Winnipeg let go and the city faced what amounted to a flash flood. Winnipeg is used to rivers over flowing in spring time by this year has seen a number of heavy rainstorms that have turned the city into a very wet place. This story includes some outstanding night images in the rain.

Kelso : Maybe ten people still live in the tiny village of Kelso where I first went to Sunday School and then attended grades one and two. We the folks from that place got together last weekend to celebrate both its history and our good fortune to have come from such a place.

Langbank : I went to Langbank school from grade three to five and from seven to twelve. Langbank is a small community with a large rural population in Southeastern Saskatchewan and Friday it was time to go back and see how the folks are doing.
