Old senior's centre demolished

FTLComm - Tisdale - Wednesday, September 18, 2002

Two doors from main street this is an ideal location for a house and the property is now no longer needed with the Golden Age Centre now approaching its first anniversary.

The sign above the front door indicates that this building dates back to 1952.

When the new Gold Age Centre openned last fall the equipment that had once been part of this building was removed

and adapted to the new centre.

It took all morning to break up the building and haul away the wreckage but the lot is now cleared and ready for its new owner.
