FTLComm - Tisdale - July 12, 2000

She really loves this the bike rider tells me about his three month old puppy. As you can see from the picture on the right I had a little trouble telling which way it was looking.

This is a Shih Tzu, a Tibettan/Chinese dog that is believed to have been derrived from Pekinese. This toy pet was not seen outside of China until the thirties but is now number 14 on the list as popular dogs go. This particular example is pretty much what is expected of the breed, charming, lively and playful but just a bit arrogant. They can come in all colours including solid colour animals. This one because it is only three months old has relatively short hair but when you look at the pictures of the show animals you will be surprised at the length these animals can go.
