Three Days Old and Already In Trouble

FTLComm - Tisdale - June 3, 2001

At ten this morning this little horse, now only three days old was waiting for the vet to come and fix up the damage from last night's escapade.

With only a few horses in the group either he was spooked or chased but what ever the case this little fella got himself tangled up in a barbed wire fence and it isn't pretty.

Being so young and small his owner scooped him up and put in the front of his pickup truck and drove down from Carrot River to have the injuries sew up.

Having to wait for a few minutes the owner had to make a makeshift larriet up from an extension chord but the discomfort from that
injured front leg made it unlikely that he was going to go anywhere. But with a reputation like this little horse has one can expect him to be in trouble at the next available opportunity. If he makes it he will be about fifteen hands tall.
