Work begins on clearing and preparing lot for house number Eight |

Taylor Trenching a contractor from Star City began work
today preparing the site for Mayor Rollie Zimmer's new house. The old house
that had been on the site was knocked down over a month ago and its foundation removed. The plan with this project is to completely clear the site removing the top soil down to the clay then this afternoon work will begin as Taylor Trenching digs the basement. New service lines will be installed on the site for the new house. By completely removing the original material the lot can be landscaped and filled as needed when the new house is completed then topped off with the removed top soil which will be returned to the lot to finish things off. This is a corner lot immediately across from St. Theresa Park, an ideal location with a great view to the East and one minute stroll over to tee off on the golf course. |
