House nineteen

FTLComm - Tisdale - Thursday, November 8, 2007

Yes sports fans, it snowed this morning and has been dropping a little bit more all day long.

The installing of a basement is a bit more quickly done than the building of a house and at this point there are four houses under construction with only a basement in place. One of those is awaiting a ready to move house but the rest will be stick built buildings.

This morning Chupa Excavation began work on house number nineteen. This one tucked in between one of the completed basements and a house that is just about two years old. The water and sewer service were being installed when I drove by this morning and the structure's outline is staked on the ground and the first layer of soil removed, no doubt by now (late afternoon) most of the earth work on this lot will be completed.

Meanwhile work forges ahead one various homes under construction. Walls windows and full structural work is in progress on four sites I saw this morning.

Work is also proceeding south of town on a large service building just north of the now closed Shell Bulk outlet. Workmen were assembling the walls of the new structure that will be built on the large slab already in place.
