The drug store

FTLComm - Tisdale - Wednesday, May 18, 2005
If this was the only store in town like this it would be easier to write this story, but LaCroix drug store is one of several retail stores in town that have really unique merchandise. Elements, Lambs, the two florist shops and Martins all have displays that catch the eye and are changed for each season. Today, I was struck by the variety and charm of the display as they just seemed to beg to be recorded in a picture.

I have a sort of rule that goes like this, if the scene is interesting enough to make one stop and stare, it needs to be photographed.

It always amazes me to consider the whole process of selecting products, then arranging them in an attractive display. This process in itself is an artform and often the single items, though interesting, become something else, when seen in an ensemble'.
