New deck for Tempo Gas

FTLComm - Tisdale - Friday, July 13, 2007

The real story today is that gasoline prices have inexplicably jumped up in value yet again to $1.19.9 at Tempo and $1.17.9 at Wicks that makes an increase in gasoline prices in one week of 12¢ or 9%. That is pretty much a rise in cost that is far beyond any sensible explanation. Don't even suggest it is because of the integration of the North American market when we see US gasoline prices a fraction of Canadian prices and its the same oil used the make the gas 60% of coming from Canada.

But we would be just spinning our tires talking about the absurdity of gasoline price hikes when the real demand if for Ice Cream. It was back on June 2 when we told you about the sale of soft ice cream at the Tempo station and the popularity of the product has been growing on a daily basis.

They installed some patio furniture in the ice cream sales area and today began work on developing a new deck on the east side of the building.

As we licked our cones this afternoon there was a steady flow of customers to get their ice cream, perfectly appropriate for a 28ºC day.
