Movie Master opened in Tisdale yesterday

FTLComm - Tisdale - Friday, December 6, 2002

It looks like a lot of work has gone into altering the interior of what used to be Inchworm nestled in beside the Bank of Nova Scotia on main street in Tisdale.

But most of the work is done and the VHS video, DVDs and video games are on the shelf as Movie Master was open yesterday.

Jeannine Carfantan is the owner of the Melfort video outlet and has set up the new store in Tisdale as an independent operation.

The collection is huge. Not only the current releases in VHS and DVD but a truly massive collection of movies sorted by genre.

This is a difficult business as so much depends on community events and competing other forms of

entertainment like broadcast television and what is showing at the local theatre.

Wick's has been the only video rental location to soldier on through the years and the competition picked up this summer with LA Express by the Post Office.

The spacious setting makes Movie Master ideal to shop and consider the shows on the shelf and we welcome this new business to the community.
