Everyone knows that winter doesn't last forever and this quartet are making the best of what's left of this one. The four were enjoying a gentle slope in their neighbourhood and they agreed to let us share in their fun as they slid by. The picture above didn't happen, it is to dangerous for a group to go down even a gentle slope together so to get you involved I put this picture together.
From these two pictures you can immediately see why snow boarding is replacing down hill skiing, this is fun.
This spinning device is referred to as a saucer and by far is the easiest to bring back up the hill after a ride down.
The girls called this a GX and I was surprised at is stability and from the expression you can see it is a good ride.
There is a certain serenity is whipping down a hill on a traditional toboggan, few are still being used that are made of wood here is an aluminum one and one of plastic with a foam pad, but clearly this is for the purist.
I was not the only spectator enjoying the girls and their runs up and down the hill this fuzzy friend was out admiring the departure of the white stuff and enjoying the giggles of the girls.
