Mission in progress

It has always been my purpose to leave Christmas shopping until the last possible moment because I want Christmas to be important and I want the feelings I have and those feelings I share with my family to be something immediate and as much as possible spontaneous.

So today we were on a mission and accomplished more than half of our list. An excellent day and we were not alone. There was the eighteen month old shopper with gramma the lady taking
 
 

advantage of a sale on storage containers and in the picture above I discovered when I opened up this picture to find a fellow taking a picture of someone buying a Christmas gift.

The Lions club were out selling tickets on their shopping spree and there was standing room only in Zeller's coffee shop as folks found time to visit and rest during the afternoon.

The lady below was standing on one foot and quickly slipped off her boot to sort out a shoppers foot problem.
