Spring Rummage sale at St. Matthew's

FTLComm - Tisdale - May 4, 2006

I look forward to the Anglican church spring rummage sale, it is for me the most reliable sign of spring and ushers in the whole garage sale season and the rather light hearted way garage sales affect our relationship with property.

This year's sale had the usual large crowd waiting at the door for opening this morning and they were rewarded with some outstanding values and a wide range of goods. I made my own personal investment of a $1.50 buying a set of head phones and a little digital clock.

Across the street the Cedar Villa were holding their sale and were almost cleaned out of baked goods by the time I sauntered in but I was able to find an outstanding value, a Thermos travel mug so my day was made.

Click on the images below to see them full size but they will not appear if you have turned off pop-ups in your browser.
