Lutheran Church Spring Rummage Sale

FTLComm - Tisdale - Friday, May 7, 2004

For several years I have gone to the spring and fall rummage sale at the Lutheran Church and each year enjoy the experience.

This spring's sale had the arts and crafts items that seem to identify this sale but it also had a good collection of tableware. When you think back to the time when various items were distributed like the dishes in a soap box or oatmeal box or the glassware sold and given away by Petro Canada it is surprising to see these things emerge in really significant numbers.

This year at several sales I have seen a lot of the Petro Canada glassware.

There were a good number of customers on hand when I dropped by this morning and there was plenty of values to be found, from puzzles to appliances as well as some excellent values in clothing.

There were about five other garage sales in town competing with this one and there will be more tomorrow. This sale ends at noon Saturday.
