--Oh God!

FTLComm - Tisdale - May 23, 1999
I have taken pictures like this for years and each one has a certain fascination. I refer to the shaft of light streaming through a parting in the clouds as an "Oh God" image.

Sometimes they are more pronounced then others but it is one of those things that always inspires me to think beyond this terrestial experience and recognise how finite our domain, while the sun which fosters life on this planet does so in conjuntion with the clouds and percipitation. It would be great to be able to put it all into words, but it might be far better to leave the interpretation of an Oh God picture to you. Perhaps you will see or experience transcendence while some will think of angels. (In this unusual Oh God scene taken Saturday afternoon, the shaft of light points directly to the doorstep of our house.)
