Beeland Co-op does the floor

FTLComm - Tisdale - Monday, February 3, 2003

Beeland Co-op seems
pretty serious about the renovations it is undertaking this winter.

Today work began as tile layers began the big project of replacing the floor covering for the produce and meat areas.

The floor covering is now more than two decades old and this will come as a surprise to many customers as the Beeland Co-op mall seems pretty much like a new building. But time creeps along on us and when it comes to high traffic floor areas time is not always that long.

The tiles on the floor are being partly left in place simply because they are asphalt tiles and they are better left beneath than disturbed.

Big project, but business goes on and shoppers will find the flooring crew no problem as they go about their business.
