Beeland Co-op pays dividends to over 65 members

For many years Beeland Co-op did not pay out dividends to its members and put itself into a situation where it was faced with a substantial outlay of money so for the last three years the Co-op has elected to pass on dividends to those co-op members over sixty-five years of age.

But the Beeland Co-op has been operating successfully and continues to enjoy the support of its owner
 

members so that it is showing reasonable profits and the board expects to be passing on dividend cheques not only to members who are senior citizens but to everyone.

This past year has seen some big changes in the store's operation with the elimination of the pharmacy and furniture departments while drastically upgrading the produce section and expanding the sporting goods so that they Beeland Co-op is now the best source for sporting goods of all kinds in the community.
