Darrel Davis - Beeland Co-op's Employee of the Month

FTLComm - Tisdale - April 8, 2000

Darrel Davis worked at Beeland during the seventies and eighties and came back to Tisdale in 1999. He works in the hardware department of the Beeland shopping centre. A friendly greeting for every customer and taking the time to inform customers about the products available distinguishes Darrel's work that is based on years of experience and an extensive knowledge of what he is selling.

The hardware department has re-organised the display area of television equipment and Darrel explained to this customer about the popular mid sized televisions that are available. The Co-op no longer handles Hitashi products and have RCA, Sony and Zenith televisions and on their display. Darrel helped me check the models out and pointed out that specific models I was considering were expected to be coming out on sale in the next two weeks.

The popular 25" and 27" models are only a little difference in size but the 25" models are substantial lower in price and therefore perhaps a better bargain.

Beeland Co-op has taken an agressive stance in this community marketing direct television receivers and dishes.

Darrel is the February Employee of the Month, Ensign has gotten a bit behind in publishing this article.
