Our own understanding is better than the managed objective truth:
The 9-11 attacks, Al Qaeda and Iraq

"When journalists or parliamentary colleagues start to probe at that area which the government wants to keep secret, you are more likely to be pushed further and further toward the territory of lying"

Glen Newey, political scientist at Britain's University of Strathclyde

"The attacks of September 11th could have been prevented"

U.S. Senator Bob Graham

The truth per se, doesn't count anymore and this is why we should learn how to recognize a pattern of behaviour, rather than indulging on the truth of a particular event. What is not the truth is now called untruth, and in fact, we have become so politically correct that we don't call a lie for what it is.

Now all this educated newspeak of being politically correct derives from the new languaging of politicians, and yet it is a fact that today's politicians have a propensity to lie. We all know how deceptive the consolidated media can be. So as we understand that the line that separates politics from media is getting thinner and thinner. So, we understand why politicians and the media, use their managed public opinion polls to learn their objective truth.

Yesterday morning, (July 24), as I was watching the news on CNN, I caught the talking heads laughing their heads off as they commented on a recent German poll conducted by the weekly magazine Zei Diet. The results of this poll included the CNN's laughing result that one-third of Germans under age 30 believe that U.S. government may have sponsored the 9-11 attacks.

What is interesting however, is that these CNN's talking heads can't laugh at themselves, when past American opinion polls evidence the fact that the American public is disinformed by their own media, including CNN. In fact, a relatively recent poll conducted by the Program on International Policy Attitudes at the University of Maryland reports that a third of the American public believes U.S. forces found weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in Iraq and that half of those polled believe that Iraqis were among the 9-11 hijackers. The shared understanding is that no WMD were found in Iraq, and that no Iraqi participated in the 9-11 attack.

Today Congress released its report on the 9-11 intelligence lapses, however a portion of the report dealing with the supposed evidence the hijackers received financial support from foreign countries, including American ally Saudi Arabia, remains classified. In this regard we can all become more curious in our understanding of the truth and we can therefore watch the video clip
