Workmen were busy this morning installing a new sign for Tisdale's RECPlex. There are a few in Regina and Saskatoon and they really get your attention. With very bright display LED (light emitting diodes) these digital signs can be programmed with text, images and animations.

Though they are remarkable many safety experts question their use on busy thoroughfares as they may pose a serious distraction to drivers although nothing as dangerous as cell phone use in moving vehicles which can be seen here and everywhere each and every day being used by organ donors.
