Legacy Project: final preparations

FTLComm - LaRonge - Wednesday, May 16, 2007

This afternoon using computer technology and a GPS system this surveyor is putting the markings in place for the completion of the Tisdale Legacy project.

The widening of the sidewalks and installation of the wider corners on each block have become accepted standards for downtown Tisdale along with the benches, antique light standards and the clock. Tisdale's downtown is now a place to stroll, sit and visit as well as do business. It is a wonder the downtown cafes have not realised the sidewalk is now more than wide enough to accommodate sidewalk tables and in the good weather we could enjoy a coffee and donut.
