Last week SaskPower took down the street lights on the 800 block of 100th St. in preparation for work to begin on the updgrade that will match this block with the rest of downtown.
This morning the town equipment removed the existing sidewalk on the east side of the street and this afternoon Mr. Tree
was hard at work filling in the new sidewalk area with sand and began tamping it down as preparation of the walkway is necessary to get the area ready for laying the bricks.
Like the rest of main street the sidewalks will be wider and will include the ornate light standards and other elements that are so much a part of making downtown Tisdale a very attractive place.
