John McCallum's Thinking Is Wrong

knowing
more than
closure

He has said "I think the families want closure to this" (1) Well, the families of the four
Canadians killed and the eight wounded want to know the full train of events as do all
Canadians and Americans so such a tragedy does not happen again.

Were US
pilots
informed?

Were the pilots informed of training exercises or not? Was the AWACS plane informed
of training exercises or not?

no closure
without
answers

Unless and until these and all others questions are answered there can be no closure
for the families nor assurance communications will not break down again and lead to
more deaths and injuries.

more
than pilots

Those dropping bombs are but one element. It is unconscionable that only the pilot role be
thoroughly assessed.

dangerous
future

While John McCallum may believe a new probe is "out of the question" (2) he is
dead wrong! If a complete explanation of the circumstances this tragedy is not
forthcoming Canadian soldiers participating in other such joint undertakings must
be considered as being at serious risk from more "friendly fire".

demand
inquiry

Those who do not support the Government's view it's now CASE CLOSED are
encouraged to inform their local Members of Parliament. Ask them to demand the
Prime Minister re-open the inquiry until all questions are answered.

Prime
Minister

Why the Prime Minister? Because he, rather than his new Defence Minister, makes final
decisions.
