Davinder Pal Singh Bhullar, convicted Sikh terrorist, David Kilgour, Herb Dhaliwal and convicted Canadian Bill Sampson

The abandoned Canadian

Princeton, Ontario - Monday, April 7, 2003 - by: Rebecca Gingrich

Cabinet Minister Dhaliwal lobbies for a convicted terrorist who is not a Canadian citizen and Cabinet Minister David Kilgour sends his constituency assistant at public expense to India to do the same.

Meanwhile Canadian Bill Sampson has has been in solitary confinement for over 800 days, sentenced to death in Saudia Arabia under the Moslem Sharia Law Courts "None of which, apparently, involves lawyers, or such niceties as a jury." abandoned by Canada, awaits his fate .

What is wrong with this picture? Is this more politics--we can lobby India but don't touch a hot potato like Saudia Arabia?

This is an embarrassment for all Canadians. One of our own left to hang or be beheaded after torture and solitary confinement--if our Government does nothing they are complicit in his treatment.
