Politics is driven by action and reaction to perception. My form of conservatism is to seek after as much reality as possible. Radical policy change is essentially anathema to me. The result, taking positions open to criticism from proponents of both extremes for being wishy washy.

Upon arriving at a position, wishy washy I'm not, on climate change I've no firm personal position as yet. Reality is, however, that there is rising expectation of action being taken to deal with perceived crisis.
