Makes no sense

Canadian Forces continuing their presence in the Persian Gulf in the event of war makes no sense.

Those supporting the Government's stand to be non-involved are demanding withdrawal because belligerents ships will be escorted.

Those favouring our ships aiding our erstwhile allies see no reason for them to be there as observers.

Only the purblind will accept the Defence Minister's argument that our naval vessels will continue their task of blockading terrorists in the midst of a battle zone.
