On the road to Sussex Drive

	As Finance Ministerm Paul Martin cut Federal transfer payments and initiated the health care crisis without consulting the provinces.
	Is his conversion to preaching that
	"political leaders have to be willing and able to work together for the national interest." *
	as sincere as was that of his namesake St. Paul "On the road to Damascus." Or, more likely, it is a calculated move aimed at having his past works forgotten as he travels "On the road to Sussex Drive".
