Stick World

FTLComm - Tisdale - May 25, 2001

Some sticks, nails, glue and paint in the hands of a creative individual and this is what you get. This has to be one of the must unique lawn displays in town, just across the street from Nuform Packaging.

Using some plastic horses and farm animals to fill in the atmosphere the stick made world is alive with colour and a wide variety of scenes from early rural Saskatchewan life.

Besides the train there is a stock yard, some animal pens and the most authentic hay rack. But the favourite of the display is the log cabin with its windows, doors and removable roof and to add to the atmosphere an outhouse with the door ajar and a wood shed.
