Tri-Unity Challenge

FTLComm - Tisdale - Wednesday, June 24, 2009

The three communities of Arborfield, Zenon Park and Carrot River are pitching in on a really interesting shared project. They are going to build and maintain a walking, running and biking trail to be situated at the Pasquia Regional Park south of Carrot River. The Tri-Unity Challenge is a fund raising but also participation fitness project to go each year in mid August.

The mascot for the Pasquia Regional Park and the Challenge is the pre-historic giant allegator "Bert" who's remains were found at the park and it seems fitting for him to be identified with the project.

You can find out all about this year's run by going to the web site for the Challenge which has information on how you can take part in this run or walk event which also will be both team and individual competitions. The web site has some pointers on what to do, wear and be prepared for events of this kind and the actual registration forms for the event.
