Building a back yard

FTLComm - Tisdale - Tuesday, May 18, 2004

This is the back yard of one of the new homes built on Forester Crescent last year. It has a large corner back yard that angles back to the corner of the back alley.

The owner has set Mr. Tree to work with a row of everygreens to form the west side of the property. They will provide a much needed wind break summer and winter.

Down on the corner they have located a screened in gazebo with its own patio and fire pit.

The deck on the back of the house leads to a complex set of brick walls and a stone paved patio which you see here under construction.

While this was going on Chupa Excavating was dropping off fill for the front yard and sand to form the base for the driveway which also will be paved with fitted concrete bricks.

The next house to this in the background here (right) is nearing completion and its paving bricks are piled up ready to be installed.

This is a large project primarily because this is a very large yard and clearly, with these developments will provide for an outstanding environment for the life of this house as these materials and the design are definitely the sort of thing that will endure.
