What A Wonderful World

From the early flights by the Mercury Astronauts to the present day orbital and those few who travelled out to the moon and back have come back to earth and told of the beauty of their planet. Despite the efforts to capture the overwhelming excitement of seeing our planet with some perspective they tell us that gazing out the porthole at the earth below is the single most important experience in each adventure.

Ken Styan came across the picture you see here although only a portion of it is shown here but it is really worth spending some time looking at the world as seen in the darkness with few clouds or obstructions to mar the view.

Ken also passed along another link that has a list of celestial objects that can enjoyed as a result of the marvels of the Hubbell telescope.
