This political placard is over at the entrance to Tisdale airport and I was immediately intriqued by the Canadian Wheat Board being a political event along the lines of a provincial or federal election.
Though I was unable to get a picture of Mr. Korneychuk there are loads of references to him on the Internet as it would appear that he has been a busy advocate of Western Canadian farming for some time as I found reference back in to the 90s.
He has made presentations to the Federal government over the Wheat Board, was president of a short line railroad, appeared at public hearings in Regina and Saskatoon and contributed $250 to the Liberal party. He is a member of the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool board of directors for District 6 and I could find nothing that said anything bad about the guy.
His editorials have been printed in many rural papers and he is a staunch supporter of the Canadian Wheat Board.
