Still some way to go to reach a positive agreement

During the Federal election the current prime minister made committments to Saskatchewan to sort of the matter for Federal Equalization Payments. As it now stands some provinces receive energy and mineral royalties and also get a piece of the tax money Ottawa collects or is contributed from the more wealthy provinces, while Saskatchewan is seeing its non-renewable resources being included in the province's revenue for calculating the Equalization formula.
