 Merry Christmas Timothy: I really enjoyed your photos and commentary on "Tracks." I guess there's nostalgia in all Canadians who have been raised near the railroad "tracks". I have a fascination with trains and tracks, as well, and have photographed them many times. As I live in Vancouver,I often travel out in the Fraser Valley and along the CP Mainline to photograph the trains. When a see the long lines of grain cars, I often wonder which ones might be filled with wheat from the Tisdale area. Railway tracks, frost on things . . . it's such a Canadian thing! Attached are a couple of my shots. Hope you enjoy them. |
