FTLComm - Tisdale - June 14, 2000
It is the first of June each year that Tisdale Alfalfa Dehydration likes to begin its annual production of pellets but this year we are already half way through the month before the steam from the dehydration process has begun to come from the stacks.

As we reported earlier the harvesting process had begun over a week ago and continues but up until Tuesday the product was just being piled up. There are several reasons for the delay not the least of which is the extraordinarily cool temperatures this spring that have retarded growth but also the slack markets have reduced demand and there is no real hurry to get the plants in the area up and running.
