Sewer Line Relining

FTLComm - Tisdale - Thursday, May 23, 2002
Each spring and summer Tisdale spends around $100,000 renovating aging concrete pipe sewer lines. We first told this story in 1998 and each year a few more streets are overhauled without a single hole being dug.

The system involves running an inner bladder down the sewer line then that bladder is filled with water and the area between the new plastic liner and the old pipe is filled with plastic foam.

Several streets have been done already and a few more blocks are yet to be finished for this year's process.
