Petunias

FTLComm - Tisdale - July 7, 1998

It is hard to really pinpoint this writers annoyance with Petunias but alas it is the case, they seem to be whimp flowers they last to long, have a bad attitude by showing up everything else and their range of colour is just out of the ordinary. But its time to revise the opinion, all over town people have found a wide range of uses of these flowers so we thought we would share them with you. Above is a nice clump by the edge of a driveway but they seem to do their best work near doorways

in pots on the left, in a planter above or the most spectacular show is the arrangement below where they are used to decorate the whole front of the house while below left they create an outstanding entranceway. Bottom left another great doorway but with a week attempt at some fairness on the bottom right is a few Tiger Lilies who do their best to hold up their family name in the plant world of show-off follage.
