Gardens 2001

FTLComm - Tisdale - Friday, June 8, 2001
Just because we decided this was the year for a black garden does not mean we at Ensign will not bring you at least one garden a week. Each year we have been sneaking up and down the town's back alleys looking for gardens with interesting features or stages of development. Once again this year we will keep up this tradition and try to show you some interesting home gardens.

The low temperatures this spring has meant that most gardens are not looking like they will amount to much even those that have been watered but the recent light rains have made a dramatic difference and all around the community gardens are starting to show signs of growth. This one over near the Theresa Hospital Park has a pretty impressive level of growth and there are a few potatoes peeking through. This one looke good but later this morning I saw just a potato patch South of town with real honest to goodness looking potato plants so may be this rain has done some good.

More to come.
