The guest speaker at the Thursday, March 8 meeting of the Roland Groome Chapter of the Canadian Aviation Historical Society (CAHS) in Regina will be Assiniboia's Harry Whereatt, master restorer of warbirds.

Harry plans to show a tape showing the first flight of his famous Hurricane fighter and talk about his restoration work. This should be a fascinating meeting as it will be, to the best of my knowledge, the first time Harry has given a talk about his remarkable restoration work.

This meeting takes place at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday, March 8 in the clubhouse of the Regina Flying Club. There is no charge, though those attending are asked to make a voluntary $2 "landing fee" contribution to cover the cost of the room rental.
