Winnipeg's WHAM (Winnipeg
Headingley Aero Modellers) FunFly was Sunday August 2 and from the picture at
the right you can see it was an easy going pleasant crowd who enjoyed the day of
model aviation activity.
The aircraft above is one of the larger machines stirring up the Manitoba sky. This
is a model of a Champ Citabria but if you look real close at the picture you will
notice that the pilot is none other then Elvis.
A wide range of aircraft were on display and flying from the very large Extra 300S
with its two cycle chainsaw style engine seen on the next page upper right to the
deHaviland electric power biplane. |
