Pool time on its way

FTLComm - Tisdale - Thursday, May 8, 2003
At 8:00 this morning I was looking out across the countryside trying to see what the visibility was as there was a thin layer of morning fog after the rain last night and I took the picture at the top of this page.

To my surprise, besides the clouds and the distant Harvest Valley elevator I spotted water in the swimming pool.

There was a workman already getting his work day underway as I approached the pool and discovered that the brick work is all being reworked and perhaps renewed.

At +5 this morning it didn't feel much like pool weather but last year it was not until June that it actually warmed up. But the swimming pool will be open in one week's time as it always opens on the Victoria Day long weekend and this year that is on the 19th.
