Canadian National Railroad - Saskatchewan

FTLComm - Regina - Thursday, May 27, 2004

This map shows much of Saskatchewan with the railway network of Canadian National Railway as it was in about 1950.

Only a few lines had been abandoned when I was responsible for the 306 miles of line marked in yellow on this map in the late 70s and early 80s. What you must realise is that Canadian Pacific had a similar network to this filling in many of the spaces on the map and can be seen on this map in some places as a thin black line.
