Skidooing - Warm and Enough Snow

FTLComm - Tisdale - Saturday, Janaury 5, 2002

Though fiding a snow machine at speed is never a warm experience no matter what the temperature, it is a much easier thing to do when the temperature is like that we are experiencing this weekend. At -6ºC it is a lot easier to load, unload and service a machine.

Most of Saskatchewan does not have enough snow for

safe snow mobiling but the fields around Tisdale have just about enough and that brought the owners of these four trucks here to spend the day dashing about the fields. These trucks are from the Watson area which is about an hour South and six inches less in snow cover.

Snow machines are on the streets and in the backs of trucks throughout the town as the season and weather have combined for excellent conditions.
