The Trojans playered their third last game of the season as they went to a four four tie with the Swift Current Legionaires in overtime Friday night. They will be on the ice at 8:00 tonight in the last home game of the season as they play the Hounds from Notre Dame. They wrap up the season Tuesday night in Saskatoon as they play the Blazers.

Friday night's game began with recognising the efforts of two players Regan Nebseth who was named player of the month for December and Steven Turner for being player of the month for January.

After a string of years with the Trojans being one of the premier teams in the league this season was a tough one with ten wins to their credit and a remarkable eight tied games have left them out of the play offs for the first time in a very long time.

To close the chapter on the 2006-2007 season the Trojan Banquet and awards night will take place on March 17 in the John Barron Auditorium check the team web site for details on tickets.

Randy Kerr has stepped down as head coach of the Trojans and the task of assembling next year's team goes to the new coach Barry Archibald from Naicam. That process is well underway as players for next season are scouted and it will not be long until the team announces it's spring selection camp.
