FTLComm - Tisdale - Monday, October 30, 2006

For the second year in a row the Trojans have put hands to knives and created a set of Jack-O-lanterns. Saturday morning the whole team was at work creating their master pieces which were sold during the game with the Notre Dame Hounds Saturday night. the proceeds from the sale of the pumpkins went to KidSports.

The pumpkin carving was the only win of the day as the team captain, (top) scored the only Trojan goal of the game at seven minutes into the first period and the Hounds peppered the goal with seven goals. Now after twelve games the Trojans are at the lower end of the league

standings having won only two games this season and tied three games.

The team takes to the ice this weekend on both Saturday and Sunday against the Battleford Stars. Battleford has won four games this season but lost the same number of times as the Trojans. Yesterday, they tied with the Notre Dame Argos scoring five goals each.

We are expecting a couple of good games this weekend and a good chance that they should win one or both.
