Those really are sunflowers. Normal sunflowers can grow to six feet high but this is ridiculous. Andrew Courchene of
1020 106th Avenue says he did nothing special to these and they tower above him. My appologies to Mr. Courchene he
was good enough to come and stand by the massive plants for a picture but alas it did not turn out so we have to settle for
this image shot from his driveway.
