 The owner explained that this is a factory vehicle all of its accessories and all that you see is just the way the folks at Daimler/Chrysler turn things out. This one is a half ton with a gasoline V-8 engine and four wheel drive. But with its extended cab it is a roomy well designed vehicle. The harsh fall light of Thursday afternoon really made the bright yellow paint job stand out and it just needed to have its picture taken. |

 Essentially a vehicle like this is in the same use range as a sports utility vehicle. The trend began a full decade ago toward vehicles that can be used for a wide range of things and is now so well established that it is the norm rather than the exception. With rising fuel prices vehicles like these are hard to explain but with out a doubt the auto makers have found the right combination of looks and function that is keeping these "do-it-all" vehicles as popular as ever. It is interesting that this owner's second car is a 1977 Corvette. |
