Yellow Ford Pickup

FTLComm - Tisdale - Wednesday, July 17, 2002

When Ford churned out this spiffy little short box in the mid fifties it was intended as a work vehicle but let's face it the truck makers all advertise their modern machines as working vehicles but most of them are used for absolutely anything but.

A pickup is a handy vehicle capable of bringing things along and above all they are durable.

This little machine looks great and has only had some modest alterations from its stock form.

Chrome mag wheels and a nice interior but the rest of it is just as Henry made it with its stock engine, transmission and rear end.

Besides the novelty of a great looking and outstanding condition vehicle this is a fun vehicle to own and drive. Modest fuel consumption and guaranteed to turn the heads of everyone when it drives by or is parked on the street.

Definitely a "classic" cruise.
