Truck Town

FTLComm - Tisdale - Saturday, April 19, 2003

This morning as I drove around Tisdale once again the presence of Trucks, trucking facilities and loads seemed to be the primary activity in this town. I shouldn't be surprised because almost everything has to be hauled by truck today and those trucks have to be somewhere. Whole yards full of trailers and tractor units are around the community with them parked on streets where ever they can be placed but rather then give you the whole picture here are just a few samples.

On the North end of town T&M Custom Ag. LTD. has their machines lined up ready for the season.

The load below was seen at the Co-op cardlock site with this

really unusual seeder on board. Here are four other loads awaiting the passing of the long weekend. Two grain tankers, a cattle tailer and a new North Steel tank ready for shipment to its burial site.

It is a good chance that all of these units represent and indicate the healthy and prospectively healthy state of the economy here in Tisdale.
